Columbus will be upgrading to columbus-3 via a hard fork by exporting columbus-2 at block 2530000. Here are some important updates regarding that process. 1. Exact times are: TargetHaltBlockHeight = 2530000 EstimatedHaltTime = Fri Dec 13 2019 23:43:47 GMT+0900 (KST) Fri Dec 13 2019 14:43:47 GMT+0000 (UTC) GenesisTime = BlockTime of 2530000 + 60minutes 2. You will need to halt the chain after block 2530000, which will be the export point for the columbus-3 chain. Rough expectation for the chain halt on columbus-2 is Fri Dec 13 2019 14:43:47 GMT+0000 (UTC) 3. The new genesis date for columbus-3 will be BlockTime of 2530000 + 60minutes. All validators must upgrade their nodes (after doing terrad unsafe-reset-all) and restart their terrad by the time of the new genesis. You will need to either compile the new genesis.json file by either compiling it yourself (instructions in link in 2) or by downloading the new genesis.json file to be uploaded to our launch repo post columbus-2 chain-halt. 4. For those of you that have yet to start running an oracle, we urge you to join the latest soju testnet and start running one immediately. Not participating in the oracle is now a slashing condition come columbus-3, so it is essential that you stand up necessary infrastructure by the time the latest mainnet rolls out. 5.
